Throw away your letters and numbers

How cold? Ice cold!
Young Galaxy‘s previous work was good, despite the group’s unfortunate penchant for overblown arena rock. Thankfully, the band’s cinematic aspirations appear to have been toned down on its latest record, Shapeshifting, which was made with Studio‘s Dan Lissvik. Click on the link below to hear “Cover Your Tracks,” which scales back the group’s guitar rock theatrics in favour of chilly synths, dead-eyed vocals and gently funky beats. This thing is ice cold.
